China's automobile filter industry has entered the supporting era, and the demand is on the rise

By filtering the air, oil and fuel entering the engine, the filter can protect the engine and improve the working efficiency of the engine. It is an essential part of the automobile engine. In view of the direct matching relationship between vehicle filter and vehicle (or engine), with the rapid development of China's automobile industry in recent years, the rapid increase of vehicle ownership provides a broad market space for vehicle filters in China. 1、 The demand for automotive filters is on the rise According to the latest statistics of China Automobile Industry Association, in the first 11 months of 2010, the cumulative sales volume of automobiles was 16.3954 million units, a year-on-year increase of 34.05%. It is estimated that this year's automobile production and sales will reach 18 million vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 32%. In recent years, the rapid development of China's automobile industry has stimulated the market demand for auto parts, and the filter industry is an example. It is estimated that the total market demand of automotive filters in China will increase to 1.16 billion sets in 2020. 2、 Fierce competition in automotive filter Market The huge filter market has attracted the attention of many manufacturers. Domestic and foreign enterprises have joined in one after another, resulting in increasingly fierce competition in the current filter industry. At present, there are more than 1000 filter manufacturers in China. Due to the variety and structure of automotive filter products, it is suitable for large-scale production with high degree of automation and small batch workshop production mainly by manual operation. Therefore, most of the production enterprises have small scale, and there are more than 30 large and medium-sized enterprises, so there is no monopoly super large enterprise in the industry. The fierce competition in the filter market is mainly manifested in the after-sales market. The reasons are as follows: first, the filter is a vulnerable part of the automobile and needs to be replaced regularly. Therefore, the sales volume in the after-sales market is very large, which directly leads to the number of filter enterprises competing for the after-sales market far more than the matching market. Second, China's automobile filter industry manufacturers are numerous, and the scale is generally small, most of them are small-scale manual workshop type automobile filter enterprises with incomplete production conditions, backward detection methods, and small scale. These enterprises basically can not meet the requirements of supporting, so they can only compete in the after-sales market. Due to the fierce competition of enterprises, the concentration of brands in the filter after-sales market is very low, and the market share of the first five filter enterprises is only 15%. In the matching market, the market share of the first five filter enterprises has reached 40%. 3、 Under the era of meagre profit, the filter enterprise moves to the matching market Although the demand of filter after-sales market is very large, with more and more enterprises entering this market, in fact, the filter after-sales market has entered the era of meager profit, and the profit margin is still shrinking. Future trends of filters

There are many reasons for the phenomenon that the supply of filter is in short supply. From a macro point of view, the continuous growth of fixed assets investment has led to the rapid development of the construction machinery industry, and the expansion of domestic demand provides the most direct driving force for the market development of large-scale engineering filters. Although the state has repeatedly increased the strength of macro-control, but in the face of the huge market demand base, the demand will undoubtedly be an amazing number. In addition, with the continuous development of the international market, the export volume of products has doubled in the past two years, and the export amount of China's construction elevator has accounted for 25% of the total sales volume. The production capacity of the filter is far from keeping up with the growth rate of demand. As far as foreign brands are concerned, the prosperity of the global market makes the sales volume of Terex Demag, Liebherr, manitowak and other manufacturers increase by about 40%. However, due to the fact that the filter bodies are all made to order, and the parts matching the main engine are also shipped according to the order, and affected by the manufacturer's own capacity, the extension of the supply cycle is inevitable. The lack of production capacity and the shortage of key parts are troubling manufacturers and users. Talking about the situation of most filter manufacturers, the president of a well-known foreign filter manufacturer said: "customers are queuing up for delivery, but we are struggling for those limited parts. We are working hard to solve the bottleneck problem of each manufacturer one by one, so as to make full use of the existing site to produce more products. " This phenomenon of short supply caused by long supply cycle will continue to perplex the market of large-scale engineering filter all over the world, especially in the Chinese market with such strong demand.

Filter usage

The oil filter is located in the engine lubrication system. Its upstream is the oil pump, the downstream is the engine parts that need lubrication. Its function is to filter out the harmful impurities in the oil from the oil pan, and supply clean oil to the crankshaft, connecting rod, camshaft, supercharger, piston ring and other moving pairs to lubricate, cool and clean these parts, so as to prolong the service life of these parts. According to the structure, the oil filters can be divided into replaceable type, spin on type and centrifugal type; according to the arrangement in the system, it can be divided into full flow type, full flow type, and full flow type Split type. The filter materials used in oil filter include filter paper, felt, metal mesh, nonwovens, etc. Before the 1980s, most of the oil filters used in Chinese engines were replaceable. The filter element and other parts, such as spring and sealing ring, are put into a metal shell, and the shell filter element and a metal filter seat are connected and fixed by a pull rod. It has the advantage of low cost and only needs regular maintenance and replacement of filter element. The disadvantage is that there are too many sealing points, and the replacement of filter element may miss the installation of parts, which is easy to cause loopholes, and the replacement is laborious. Since the early 1980s, Bengbu General filter factory introduced the first rotary filter production line from Italy in China. Since then, the rotary filter has been gradually approved by domestic main engine manufacturers. This kind of filter is characterized by one check valve, by-pass valve and only one sealing point. The overall replacement greatly improves the sealing performance and is easy to replace. The filter element material mostly adopts imported filter paper, so it has high filtration efficiency, small flow resistance and long service life. At present, all domestic cars use this type of oil filter. Most of the mini cars, large, medium and small buses, light and medium-sized trucks, and some heavy-duty trucks and agricultural vehicles all use spin on oil filters.
